BrushLive - The Many Agency

I always look forward to the prep calls with clients. Its dedicated time to better understand their needs and expectations & to also brainstorm some ideas about the upcoming experiences. The call with The Many Agency for the BrushLive experience was incredible. I initially proposed some abstract designs about incorporating the ocean (since the office is right on the PCH)…their response was simple and straight to the point “We want to paint our view".

And what a view it was!

They had provided a picture ahead of time so I could prep the canvas and pre-make a bunch of colors. The picture is on the main blog page and in it you see blues, teals, whites, oranges, and grays. So many color values to choose from!

When I started setting up the canvas facing the view a few of the attendees came up and asked one of my favorite questions at BrushLive events…

Attendee: “So are you going to paint it?”

Me: “No, all of you will”

Attendee: “Well thats cool”

That back and forth highlights the creative invitation that supports the experience. I will prep, facilitate and call you over. But it is you who is going to pick up the brush and go for it!
